Requirements Analysts and JAD FacilitatorsThe role of JAD facilitator is responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. JAD Sessions are commonly used to identify business requirements for business critical projects. Required skills include meeting planning, problem resolution, scheduling, and any business analysis techniques that will be used during the JAD session. This role is best filled by someone who does not have a vested interest in the project but is primarily concerned with facilitating a productive JAD session. need specialized business analysis and facilitation skills which can only be acquired through extensive and time-consuming training or experience. Outsourcing the requirements specialist role is a viable alternative for getting the requirements when time is of the essence. When we consult we are always mindful of knowledge transfer as an important part of the consulting engagement.
