Business Analysis Skills Evaluation Summary

 

This tool is designed to help you define your personal level of expertise in a set of typical business analysis activities and deliverables. You can identify where you think you should be, either for your current job, to do a specific task, or for career development. You can also use this form as a "before and after" evaluation of a learning experience.

Once you have finished the evaluation, you can see a graph of your skills in eight core competencies for business systems analysts. This lets you visualize the difference between where you are versus where you want to be. You can then look at recommendations for typical training seminars and books for self-improvement in each of the core competencies. You will also be offered the opportunity to submit the form to the Requirements Solutions Group for a personalized training recommendation.

The test consists of 2 parts, part 1 presents you with a set of typical business systems analysis activities whereas part 2 focuses on knowledge representation tools commonly used by business systems analysts.
